ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Haynes Entertainment was founded in 2002 by Gerald G. Haynes, a filmmaker who lives in Los Angeles. The company's first independent short film, "Hysteria," enjoyed a successful debut at the 2005 Pan African Film and Arts Festival. Since its debut, "Hysteria" has screened at a number of venues including the Chicago Horror Film Festival, Sandra Manly Short Film Showcase, and on BET-J's 'The Best Shorts'.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER:
Gerald graduated and received his B.A. from the USC School of Cinema-Television in 1998. Shortly after, he studied screenwriting at UCLA's Extension Program and earned a Certificate in screenwriting in 2000.
Gerald's inspiration has been his grandmother, Gladys Mae Ellen Jasper who has written over 300 poems which he intends to publish. Other creative influences have been the
Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Outer Limits, and One Step Beyond.
Gerald currently works as the Director of Marketing for the Hollywood Black Film Festival which is heading into its 10th year. He's also a member of the Organization of Black Screenwriters (OBS).
